The plant will specialize in processing agricultural waste into biomethane - a renewable fuel that supports the decarbonization of the energy and agricultural sectors.

Key Project Characteristics

GBP will become one of the first commercially scalable biomethane facilities in Ukraine, combining technological efficiency with full logistics integration.

Efficient feedstock supply model

This minimizes transportation costs and reduces emissions during the logistics process.

Existing infrastructure, including storage lagoons, helps reduce capital expenditure and optimize environmental performance.

Infrastructure Synergy

The location of GBP enables effective integration into the national energy system:
Gas distribution networks - within 3 km

3d-05

Transmission gas pipelines - up to 13 km

3d-06

35 kV power grid - on site

3d-07

Advantages of the Technological Model

GBP implements the SWOP (Substrate With Output Product) model, under which agricultural waste is exchanged for digestate - an organic fertilizer for agricultural producers. This approach reduces operating costs, creates a closed-loop production cycle, and strengthens engagement with local communities.

The plant is characterized by a high level of adaptability.
the ability to process different types of feedstock and flexibly adjust the ratio between biomethane and electricity production depending on market conditions.
